Construction Management

Planning and organizing a project and its various teams can seem daunting. We know it can feel like chaos, but we like to think of our role as conductor of a big, dusty orchestra - and we love dust.

Throughout our engagement we focus on four key factors: time, cost, quality and safety. Each stage of your project is meticulously planned and coordinated with industry-leading software that allows for ongoing progress reports to keep you fully up to speed.

Our project delivery systems range from Design-Bid-Build to Design-Build, Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) and Public Private Partnerships.

General Contracting

We love the smell of demolition in the morning. Construction is where the magic happens: drawings are scrutinized, craft and trades-men and women assemble for a day’s work, materials and machinery are delivered, and then, something amazing happens amidst a symphony of saws and hammers: Walls are erected, electric and plumbing installed, and your vision takes shape.

This all happens under our watchful eye. From start to finish, we’re your on-the-ground resource directing each moving part of our highly skilled teams, synchronizing every effort to deliver impeccable spaces.

Owner Representation

We work with local and national property owners, investors and developers to manage all project teams to execute the overall vision of your project, taking into consideration time, quality, cost, safety and schedule.

MASS works with stakeholders to produce and manage pre-construction and construction duties including: master budget development, entitlements, permitting,  governmental approvals processes, day-to-day leadership with the design team, developing detailed estimates in collaboration with the pre-construction general contractor and negotiating pre-construction and construction management agreements, troubleshooting and resolving construction issues in support of the project schedule, negotiating change orders and providing the necessary leadership at the weekly project Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meeting. We then review and approve all project development related invoices and prepare monthly draws to Ownership for the same, coordinate and manage the purchasing agent in their responsibility to provide budgets and cost accounting with respect to the Owner Furnished Items (OFI) for the project, and review all vendor payment requests provided by the purchasing agent and coordinate dates for the installation of OFI and FF&E.

Mass is your constant amid chaos.
